Overview:
Serial 1 eBike models have a variety of serial numbers identifying different parts and components specific to your bike as well as one main serial number that identifies the bike in general.
Serial Number Needs:
Locating the serial numbers, (particularly the bike frame serial number), can be the best way to determine your bike from other serial 1 bikes and models. Each serial number on each bike is unique and can give you detailed information on your specific Serial 1 eBike model.
Serial numbers are also important when contacting Serial 1 Support about functionality questions on your bike. Listed below are the locations and pictures of each serial number on your bike.
1. General bike (frame) serial number
**Note: To determine if your bike is a first-generation or a current-generation, please locate the following digits on the serial number on the frame.
First Gen | Current Gen | ||
7th Digit | 8th Digit | 7th Digit | 8th Digit |
A - C | F | C | G |
1 - 9 | G | 1 - 9 | H |
If there are questions whether a bike is a 1st or Current Gen model, please take a picture of the serial number and sent it to support@serial1.com and we can help verify model year based on the serial number you provide.
2. Enviolo AHI serial number
3. Battery serial number
4. Brose display serial number
5. Headlight serial number
6. Abus key serial number (required when purchasing Abus Keyed-Alike bike lock)
7. Brose S Mag/TF Mag serial number.
On the bottom of the bike is the location of the Brose Motor. The motor is protected by a motor cover that would need to be taken off to find the motor serial number. Please contact Serial 1 Support (support@serial1.com) if you need access to this number and we can send over information to help take off the motor cover.
Once you have the cover off, it is best to take a clear picture (as shown below) of the serial number. We will grab the information as needed.
