The seat on your Serial 1 ebike is adjustable for height, tilt and forward/rearward position on the seatpost, allowing you to find your most comfortable position. Adjustments are simple to make and only require your Serial 1 multi tool and torque wrench. Let’s take a look at how you can optimize your seat comfort on your Serial 1 ebike.
Your Serial 1 multi tool will help you make this adjustment.
To raise or lower the seat height use the 4mm hex on the Serial 1 multitool and loosen the seat collar bolt until the seat will move freely. Adjust to the desired height. Holding the seat so that it is centered, tighten the seat collar bolt to 6Nm with the torque wrench that was included with your Serial 1 ebike. Refer to the "Fit" section of the /CTY owner's manual for guidance.
To adjust the tilt of the saddle, alternately tighten and loosen the bolts on the seat clamp. To lower the nose of the saddle, loosen the bolt on the back of the seatpost and tighten the bolt on the front of the seatpost. Reverse this procedure to raise the nose of the saddle, loosening the front bolt and tightening the rear bolt. Once the adjustment is set where you want it, use the torque wrench to tighten each bolt to 8Nm-10Nm.
To adjust the seat position forward or backwards on the rails, loosen both of the seatpost clamp bolts equally, and then slide the seat forward or rearward as desired. Tighten the bolts once the desired location is achieved, paying attention to the max-adjustment lines on the seat rails. Alternately tighten the bolts on the front and back of the seatpost to achieve the desired tilt and tighten to 8Nm-10Nm.
With a few, quick adjustments your seat position will be set up to best allow you to Enjoy Every Ride.
